Laurie, I admire the patience it took to do all the texture in the stone, for me it makes the painting. I find this difficult in my own work, I struggle not to let my patience run out. I read that Andrew Wyeth spent one month painting the grass in Christina's World, knowing this added at least 10 minutes to my ability to stick with it. favorite
