Painted 1989. A prayer for peace for all living things on our fragile home.
The center of the painting revolves, so the piece can be hung as shown, or with the sides parallel to the ground. The human figures (in each instance a father and daughter, symbolizing the male and female principles, and also hope for the future in the emergence of the gentle female) are set at cardinal directions. Sacred rivers and mountains, and creatures representing the regions of the earth.
