Laurie, I admire the patience it took to do all the texture in the stone, for me it makes the painting. I find this difficult in my own work, I struggle not to let my patience run out. I read that Andrew Wyeth spent one month painting the grass in Christina's World, knowing this added at least 10 minutes to my ability to stick with it. favorite

Thank you Ben. I wish I could paint like VanGogh and finish a perfect picture in an afternoon, but no. Maybe patient is what I do best.
